I came up with the idea of this magazine when I was helping my sister, Francesca, sell scarves and other eco-friendly knitted products at fairs on behalf of eco print artist Michela Pasini. While working on this start-up business, we began networking with other eco-friendly artists artisans and creative businesses and I immediately felt the need to tell their stories. We felt our passion was in promoting the ethos behind the products rather than selling the products themselves. I knew that my mom, Rosa, would have loved the idea of running a small, independent magazine about environmental issues and heritage crafts, so from here, No Serial Number was born. I am currently a doctoral student at the UCL Institute of Education and, in my spare time, I also help run Natural Crafts Workshops at Cody Dock (www.naturalcrafts.org).
In general, I provide editorial guidelines and plan the overall content and marketing strategies for the magazine. If you'd like to discuss the content of the magazine, you can contact me directly via my social media pages.
