Louise O’Hara: Mixed Media ArtistFrancescaPalange
I am a professional mixed media artist based in the heart of Cheshire and I create work from my studio at home, within my work I use a combination of layered surfaces from paint, ink, stitch, fabric and ephemera to create one off intricate mixed media pieces. My work has been described as quintessentially English, romantic and nostalgic. My work explores the richness of light and the colour and texture which I see around me, often focussing on rugged Northern landscapes with brooding skies and lighter coastal scenes that are based on the memory of a place or childhood holiday. I am also happy to work on specific commissions for clients and I post my work worldwide.
Louise’s work is featured in the Winter Issue 2017, The Yarn Special.
